Social Responsibility

UBM is concerned to carry out social action in the regions where it operates, and supports NGOs all over the world, donating £80,000 annually to social projects in England and internationally.

In Brazil UBM directly helps two NGOs: The Association to Support Children at Risk (ACER – Associação de Apoio à Criança em Risco); and the Program to Orient and Assist Patients with Eating Disorders (PROATA – Programa de Orientação e Assistência a Pacientes com Transtornos Alimentares), through organisation of the Eighth Brazilian Congress on Eating Disorders and Obesity (CBTA&O), which is the largest and most important event in Brazil dealing with the area of eating disorders.
